Infrared Thermocouples
Infrared Thermocouples Infrared Thermocouples are used where high temperatures or moving parts have to be measured. Infrared Thermocouples are made in either ABS Stainless steel and come in various models. Thermocouples type such as J,K,T,E,R,S. are available in various temperature ranges. Infrared Thermocouples are manufactured with different field of view ratio's that vary from 1:1, 2:1,10:1, 5:1, 20:1 or 1:2. This field of view represents a distant to target ratio, where the diameter of the target is a factor of the distance that the infrared sensor is from the object to be measured and the optics of the sensor. For example a infrared sensor with a field of view of 5:1 will give us a 1" spot if held 5" away from the object to be measured. A sensor with a 1:2 field of view would give us a 2" diameter spot if placed 1" away from the object to be measured. Infrared Thermocouples Features:
